When Alicia described the Bridal look of her dreams to me, she used the phrase “Classic Hollywood Glamour”.
Alicia is one of those people that you love as soon as you meet them, so I was delighted that she asked me to do her Bridal makeup and happily agreed.
She has incredible bone structure and is a classic beauty, and when she showed me her inspiration photos I knew we could put together the Bridal makeup look she was going for.
Here’s what Alicia had to say about her wedding makeup.
Krystle was absolutely amazing to work with. I wanted a Marilyn Monroe type look with the eyeliner. She matched everything perfectly and I felt so comfortable with her. She definitely knows what she is doing. All my bridesmaids were beautiful as well and my 10 year old had her eyelashes and lips which was perfect. I definitely recommend her! She’s an absolutely beautiful person as well. Helps you to feel very relaxed on your big day!
For Alicia’s look we opted for a matte, flawless foundation with light contouring and a sable-rose colored blush. We kept the eyeshadow matte as well and finished off the eyes with gorgeous lashes and a winged liner. For the lips we chose a liquid matte lipstick in a gorgeous nude shade.
Alicia’s bridal party had such gorgeous and distinctive features. Although we made sure everyone’s looks were cohesive, we chose different looks to bring out the unique beauty of each of her bridesmaids.
We kept it simple for the youngest member of her bridal party with false lashes and lipstick. She looked lovely and completely age appropriate.
Makayla looked so sleek and modern in her royal blue dress, and we wanted to keep that sleekness reflected in her makeup. We chose a beautiful matte mauve-plum liquid lipstick, full but perfectly groomed brows and a thick fringe of lashes.
One of Alicia’s bridesmaids had a beautiful warm toned complexion and strawberry blonde hair. We played up her natural beauty with a shimmery taupe eye, full lashes, a pink glossy lip and warm blush.
